Study Permit

Eligibility 

Obtaining a Letter of Acceptance from a Canadian Designated Learning Institution (DLI) is the first step in the application for a Canadian study permit.

Document Checklist

  • Application for Study permit made outside of Canada (IMM 1294)

  • Family information form (IMM5707)

  • Fee Payment in an acceptable format

  • A Photocopy of the information page of your valid passport or travel documents

  • Two Photos meeting the requirements of Visa application photograph specifications. Temporary Resident Visa application photograph specifications - Canada.ca

  • Letter of acceptance from where you intend to study

  • MIDI’s letter of approval to your application for a “Certificat d’acceptation du Quebec” (CAQ)

  • Proof of financial support

  • Photocopy of your Marriage License Certificate

  • Any additional documents required by responsible visa office.
